Centre for Neuro Skills

To support its mission of helping patients with brain trauma regain independence, the Center for Neuro Skills (CNS) partnered with ERDMAN to design a network of rehabilitation facilities using a scalable prototype approach. This strategy ensured operational consistency across multiple locations while adapting to regional needs and spatial constraints.

Each facility is intentionally designed to enhance patient recovery through therapeutic spaces that support physical and occupational therapy. Layouts prioritize accessibility, ease of movement, and staff efficiency while incorporating design features that promote healing—such as natural light, calming colors, and acoustic control. The prototype also allows for flexibility, ensuring that core principles of CNS’s care model are preserved regardless of site-specific variables.

The result is a replicable, patient-centered environment that elevates the care experience, advances clinical outcomes, and reinforces CNS’s long-term commitment to recovery and quality of life.
