Medical Center – Aberdeen Campus

University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is advancing its vision to transform healthcare delivery in the region through the development of the Aberdeen Campus. Designed to expand access, improve affordability, and foster coordination between hospital-based and community providers, the new campus will serve as a cornerstone for next-generation, patient-centered care.

The campus includes a freestanding medical facility, behavioral health pavilion, and medical office building—a collection of purpose-built spaces that offer a full spectrum of services, including crisis stabilization, inpatient behavioral health, outpatient therapy, and acute care. The project introduces new care models supported by advanced technology and aligns emergency response with the unique needs of the community, including dedicated space for behavioral health emergency care.

With a focus on efficiency, integration, and long-term sustainability, the Aberdeen Campus reflects UM UCH’s commitment to delivering thoughtful, modern healthcare that meets people where they are—both clinically and geographically.
