Vince Shiely

Board Member

Vince Shiely joined Lubar & Co. in 2011 and currently serves as a Partner. Having worked with ERDMAN through Lubar & Co. for years, Vince brings over 35 years of executive expertise in general management, sales, marketing, finance, strategy development and implementation, information technology, and global business development.

Prior to joining Lubar & Co., Vince was an officer at Briggs & Stratton Corporation serving in a number of senior operating roles including President, Yard Power Products Group, President, Home Power Products Group, and Vice President & General Manager of the Engine Products Group. Prior to that, Mr. Shiely worked at Johnson Controls as a Vice President of several divisions. He also worked with Allen-Bradley in a variety of positions including Director of Operations and Director of Manufacturing.

Vince is a member of the Board of Directors of Lubar & Co., American Pasteurization, ChemDesign, Drilltec, Lake Express, Rockland, Shared Imaging, Zero Zone, and Ixonia Bank. As an active member of the community, Vince is involved with a variety of not-for-profit organizations in the Milwaukee area.

As President & CEO, he is results driven and leads ERDMAN’s multidisciplinary team of experts. Through his commitment to excellence, Rustin is instrumental in developing solutions that deliver extraordinary experiences and provide sustainable financial, operational, and strategic results. His expertise has also been showcased as a speaker at a wide range of national conferences, and he has served as a research partner with multiple academic institutions and nonprofit organizations. As ERDMAN’s leader, Rustin is focused on maintaining the firm’s steady growth through differentiated offerings, a spirit of innovation, and a constructive culture anchored in ERDMAN’s values and common purpose.

David Lubar

David Lubar

Principal Owner

David Lubar joined Lubar & Co. in 1983 and currently serves as President and CEO. Lubar & Co. is a family office for the Lubar family and a private investment firm founded in 1977 that invests in middle market operating companies with a focus on long-term growth.

Prior to joining Lubar & Co., David was with Wells Fargo Bank (f/k/a Norwest Bank N.A.) in Minneapolis for five years serving in the Commercial Banking Department.

David is a member of the Board of Directors of Ixonia Bank, the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club, as well as many private investment and operating companies. He is a former director of BMO Financial Corp. and the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company. David is or has also served on the Board of many not-for-profit organizations, including Froedtert Health System (past chairman), Greater Milwaukee Committee (past chairman), Medical College of Wisconsin, and others.

Director

Bruce is the CEO of Wrightwood Financial, a real estate investment firm, and currently serves as Strategic Advisor to Sterling Bay, a real estate development and investment company. Bruce is responsible for an array of strategic and capital related initiatives at Sterling Bay, with particular focus on the firm’s Lincoln Yards $6 billion mixed-use community being developed on more than 55 acres in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. He has extensive experience creating and building platforms, recruiting best-in-class teams, developing innovative investment strategies, and raising capital. Bruce is a recognized industry leader with longstanding and active memberships in the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, and the Real Estate Roundtable.

Brian Happ is ERDMAN’s Chairman and a company owner. Extending the firm’s culture of leadership, integrity, and standing behind our work, Brian has committed ERDMAN to help healthcare and senior living leaders realize their strategic and operational goals. This has been achieved by aligning business strategies and specific objectives with the right real estate solutions, including a particular focus on the patient and resident experience.

Prior to his current role, Brian served as an executive in key areas within ERDMAN for over 20 years. During his tenure, he has developed and executed market-focused strategies built on a foundation of behavioral-based leadership and culture. His vision and leadership were also instrumental in ownership transitions from a family business to private equity, to publicly traded, and to now professionally owned. Additionally, Brian has led ERDMAN through uncertainties and changes in healthcare and senior living over the past decade, including the coronavirus pandemic. Brian’s leadership and vision has positioned ERDMAN for long-term, sustained growth as a trusted partner built on a nationally ranked culture of constructive leadership and values.

Dr. Kemp is a talented and accomplished senior executive with extensive healthcare experience. He has the proven ability to enhance financial stability, oversee clinical operations, coordinate mergers and acquisitions, and develop strategic alliances. He is also an expert in providing corporate and board governance. His consistent record in improving operational quality, managing medical personnel, and implementing technology offers keen insights into enhancing processes and care delivery. Dr. Kemp is additionally skilled in contract negotiations and familiar with nonprofit and for-profit operations, as well as publicly traded companies. His industry expertise is incredibly valuable as a board member and executive advisor to ERDMAN.
