Leroy Outpatient Center

The Leroy Outpatient Center is located on the St. Lawrence Canton Potsdam Hospital Campus. The project goal was to alleviate pressure on the surgical floor of the hospital by relocating simple outpatient procedures to an updated and modernized setting that also provides space for provider growth. It was additionally important that the outpatient center supports St. Lawrence Health System’s mission to provide skilled, compassionate, cost-effective care that promotes wellness and meets community needs.

Designed to reinforce a progressive patient and staff experience, the center comprises physician practices, exam rooms, infusion bays, surgical suites, and a cardiology testing area. As minor surgical procedures can be performed at the new two-story facility, more space became available for the hospital’s trauma center and more serious injuries. In turn, delays were eliminated and efficiency has increased. Completed on budget and on time, this patient-centric facility improves access and health outcomes for the local community.
