Whomping Willow Assisted Living brings a warm, residential feel to memory care through intentional design that supports dignity, comfort, and cognitive well-being. This 9,850-sf community features 16 private memory support suites organized into small, intimate clusters that balance personal space with opportunities for social engagement.
Located across from a daycare facility, the project fosters intergenerational connection while thoughtfully blending into the surrounding residential neighborhood—bridging community, care, and continuity in a setting that feels like home.
Every aspect of the design reflects a person-centered philosophy, from the residential-scale architecture to the use of familiar materials and intuitive layouts that reduce cognitive stress. Suites are grouped into pods of four, each surrounding a themed activity space that encourages interaction while honoring privacy.
Natural light, textured finishes, and secure courtyards enhance orientation and comfort, while shared amenities like a farm-to-table dining venue, salon, and living room support daily life and promote wellness. This project delivers a high-touch, life-enriching experience for residents, families, and staff alike.
