Legacy at Savannah Quarters was the first community developed as part of a regional deployment plan to meet the needs of seniors where demand for senior living is high. Efforts involved assessing the market for ideal locations and analyzing existing facilities to find optimal sites for development. The goal of each community was to design spaces that offered operational efficiency, resident engagement and satisfaction, technology integration, and safety and security.
ERDMAN’s multidisciplinary team developed a programmatic prototype for assisted living and memory care communities to support rapid, cost-effective development in various markets. A design was also developed that limits square footage of the built environment, yet maximizes secure access to the surrounding area. Additionally, integrating technology increased convenience, connectivity, and safety as residents interact with staff and patients.
