To strengthen its ambulatory care strategy and better serve the growing Puyallup community, MultiCare Health System developed the Good Samaritan Medical Office Building—an extension of its nearby hospital and bed tower campus. The goal: consolidate a diverse network of specialty services and create a shared environment that supports both patients and providers.

The four-story, LEED Silver-certified facility brings together a complementary mix of specialties under one roof, including pulmonary, nephrology, OB-GYN, orthopedics, imaging, and pain management. Designed around patient comfort and operational flow, the building features natural daylighting, intuitive wayfinding, advanced technology, and a warm, contemporary aesthetic.

By integrating services in a single, accessible location, the facility enhances continuity of care, fosters collaboration among physicians, and expands the region’s access to high-quality outpatient services—reflecting MultiCare’s ongoing investment in coordinated, community-focused healthcare.

Positive experiences with the ERDMAN team in planning for a 60,000-square-foot community MOB led us to engage on a second 80,000-square-foot project on our hospital campus.
