The new Riverton Hospital and Clinic represents a transformative investment in rural healthcare, designed to deliver high-quality, accessible services to the growing Riverton community. Spearheaded by Riverton Medical District in partnership with Billings Clinic—trusted advocate for independent hospitals—and backed by the largest USDA Community Facilities loan ever awarded in Wyoming, this project embodies collaboration, resilience, and long-term vision.

Inspired by the region’s natural beauty, the facility features warm wood accents, locally influenced stonework, and expansive windows that flood the lobby with natural light. Calming tones and intuitive wayfinding support a welcoming, low-stress environment for patients and families.

The infrastructure is built for sustainability and future flexibility, incorporating energy-efficient systems that prioritize comfort, safety, and long-term operational efficiency. With adaptable clinical spaces and room for program growth, the facility is positioned to evolve alongside the needs of the community it serves.
