St. Mary’s Hospital Radiation Oncology Center

Providing comprehensive cancer care close to home was the driving force behind SSM Health’s radiation oncology addition. SSM Health envisioned a single location that offered a broad range of cancer services and capabilities, plus a convenient and comfortable continuation of care for its patients.

Today, the radiation oncology center represents a seamless extension of the hospital, which was originally designed and built by ERDMAN. Patients have local access to cutting-edge cancer treatment, in a state-of-the-art environment that supports them through every step of their cancer care. Additionally, the space was intentionally designed as a place of comfort to help patients feel at ease when visiting the center. This was achieved by incorporating views of nature and soft lighting while prioritizing access to resources and effective patient flows.
