HealthNet of Rock County

HealthNet partnered with ERDMAN to design a welcoming, trauma-informed care environment rooted in its mission of Hope, Health, and Healing. The renovation and relocation project allowed HealthNet to centralize operations, expand behavioral health services, and better serve its patients—many of whom rely on this free and charitable clinic as their primary care resource.

Guided by the principles of empathy and dignity, ERDMAN integrated calming materials, nature-inspired imagery, curated artwork, and human-centered furnishings to reduce anxiety and create a sense of belonging. A local muralist was commissioned to design hand-painted interior and exterior murals that reflect the strength and spirit of the Rock County community.

Design solutions were aligned with patient and staff needs, supporting improved throughput, better access to care, and enhanced satisfaction. From trauma-informed therapy rooms to community-focused gathering areas, the clinic reflects HealthNet’s commitment to holistic, equitable care in an environment where every person feels seen, safe, and valued.
